only one day left

Another amazing day of single track. It is hard to have a bad day when the country side is so beautiful. I think all the travel between stages the past week has taken its toll on Burns. Racing on some rough trails for 3 to 4 hours a day is tough enough then when you add in ferry rides, bus rides, packing, unpacking, and everything else it adds up. Somehow I have managed to recover well from the past stages. My legs are feeling really strong. Hopefully tomorrow we can bring it back together and kill it.

I had my first mechanical today, a flat. Nothing major, just a sharp rock sliced into the tread of my Jones ACX tires. I sent Burns on his way as I installed a tube. I had a wicked good time ripping through the trails as I chased back up to Burns. Besides that the Superfly has been holding up really well. The 29 wheels have been amazing. I find myself riding better through the woods then a lot of locals on 26 dual suspensions. maybe people up in BC will catch onto the 29 concept soon.

Thats about it for now. I have to find a laundry mat. Riding in dirty bike shorts just isn't cool.
