I've been working to much lately. Not working at a job (wish I had one though), but working around the house, busy stuff, etc...

Today's am was spent doing some office work, finding jobs applying to some, following up with some, etc.. nothing exciting. Then I continued with some of the spring cleaning. I scrubbed the kitchen floor. It was so dirty I had to mop it twice. I try and clean the house once a week, but when you are the only one cleaning up the house after everyone else some times areas get skipped. I will admit I am on top of the weekly cleaning of the bathroom. Burnsy helps out by going to the dump/ recycling center, and Hattie does some vacuuming, JD does nothing.

On my way to the race this past weekend I got something splattered all over the Saturn. I think it was some type of slush drink. Seeing how it isn't suppose to rain for the rest of the week I decided it would be a wise idea to give the Saturn a bath. The weather was perfect for a car wash, sunny and 65-70. Suns out Guns out!

I even got around to raking the side lawn, now the entire lawn has been raked and I must say it is looking alright. Seeing how the last people who lived at the 497 did little to nothing in terms of yard maintenance the place has come a long way. I even started to pick up my winter bike clothing down basement and picking the basement in general.

I managed to make it over to Bradbury mtn today. All the single track is closed, but the double track is open. Its drying out pretty quick, but there are still a few areas that are pretty wet. I didn't ride there for to long since all of the good stuff was closed. I road the Mamasita for about 90 minutes there. After finishing up at Bradbury I hopped on the Campeon and put in another hour + on the road.

Tomorrow I am up to Rumford for a major ride. North on rt 17, west on rt 16, south on rt 26, east on rt 2. Look it up, should be 100+ miles on some wicked hilly terrain. Who needs the Tour de Georgia when you have Maine scenic highways???
