When the sun is out, the guns need to be out!
Guns being, your jacked up arms (so long as you are jacked like I). Today was another beautiful spring day, sunny and temps in the 50's. Burnsy called me around 8am to pick him up at the bus station in Portland. I was kind of hoping he wasn't going to make the 6am bus out of Boston, but it actually turned out all right. I woke Hattie up and asked if she wanted to get breakfast at Becky's Diner. She agreed. So the three of us had breakfast at Becky's Diner because theres Nutin Finer! After a few cups of coffee and a long breakfast of enjoying good diner food and talks I was pretty pumped up. When I got home I decided it was a good day to rake the front lawn. At first I was only going to do half the lawn, but I was enjoying it to much and did the whole front yard. The 497 is looking good. Plus when the sun is shining you have to show off your guns! I even road down to the gym lifted weights for the first time since Feb which is when I got kicked out of the gym for now paying (I bought a new membership on Monday). I tried to keep it light today since its been a while since I was last in the gym, but my legs are still sore! The ride home helped flush out the legs. Starting next week I should be able to make it in twice a week. I finished the L.L. Bean book the other day. It took me about 2 weeks to read the book. I am pretty impressed by that. I usually dont care for reading, but recently I have been doing a lot of it. I already started a new book on nutrition and its going pretty well. Most of the stuff I have already studied in college nutrition class, or on my own, but there is still new information and its always good to touch up on these areas. Looks like its going to be wet for this weekends race.... |
