After spending a week in Florida for spring training and a few NCAA track meets Hattie is back in Maine!
I had to pick Hattie up at midnight Sunday night/monday morning at the Portland Jet port. I wasn't to thrilled about the time, but it was worth staying up. Thankfully I didn't get called to sub Monday morning. I was able to sleep in and cook up some pancakes for breakfast. Hattie and I had a mellow day, ran some errands etc.. We split a sandwich at Clayton's in Yarmouth. That place is awesome! way cool chill place. The sandwich was awesome, but the mint topped brownie was even better! I could def spend a lot of time at that place. Rewind to Sunday. I tried posting an update on sunday, but I was having computer problems. Burnsy and I were up at Sugarloaf on Sunday. By far the best day of skiing of the year! Probably the past three years. The temps were right around 30, not a cloud in the sky, and little to no wind! the snow was soft and the mountain still has a ton of it! We ventured off into the snow fields and they were mint! Tons of snow cover and the snow was soft! Awesome, awesome day! Today I am subbing 1/2 day at Yarmouth high school. The kids are working on a project and now I am going to do some job searching. |
