Here is a math problem for you....
first off I solved this math problem in my head on my 4+ hour ride yesterday... If you had to add 1+2+3+4+5+6+7 all the way up to 100. What would the sum be? Well start off with 100, then 99+1=100, 98+2=100, 97+3=100 and so on get the drift? Do that 50 times and you are left with 5,000. But wait! what about 50? 49=51=100 and 50 is left over, so your final answer 5,050. I've heard the math problem before, but never sat down do actually figure it out. For some reason it popped into my head when I was riding, so I started to think about it for a little bit and I believe i figured it out. I also finsihed the Ominovre's Dilemma by Michael Pollan. A great read, and a book everyone should read. It will really make you think twice about the food you eat, where it comes from, and what you are actually eating. |
