Laying low and taking it easy was todays plan.

After a really long week of riding last week (around 25hrs) and subbing on Monday I was worn out. It seemed like half the kids at school were sick yesterday. Even one of the laddies I worked with was pretty sick to. She was coughing all day and didn't sound to well. By the time I got home yesterday after work I was completely run down. I decided not to take a nap because i haven't been sleeping well lately and I really wanted to get a good nights sleep in. I told Hattie that even if I got called in to sub this morning i wasn't going to. I am sched to work the next three days and I don't want to get sick before hand. Well turns out the lady who I worked with on Monday called out this morning and at 6:15am I got a phone call. It was hard to turn it away, but I am glad I did.

I got to sleep in and recharge the batteries. Good thing, because I still don't feel 100%. I believe I am on the fence of coming down with some serious. I am going to fight it though, take it easy and be back to 100% in no time (knock on wood). Hattie and I cooked up some blueberry pancakes this morning and had a nice relaxed morning. Zack Magoon swung by the house too! Zack, John, Hattie and I spent a little while sitting around the table watching the Today show and chatting. Zack was even nice enough to hook me up with some contacts at ad firms in Portland! Thanks Zack.

The ride today was nice and easy, just enough to spin out the legs, get in a good stretch etc.. I went up to the Home Depot to pick up the packet on their Olympic Employment Opportunity. I also scoped out the price of particle board for the basement. I think we can put up a non permanent wall in the basement for less than $50. This will help with sound and be more appealing to the eye. After the trip up to the Home Depot it was a short nap. I tried to make it down to Sams Club and Best Buy today in So Po, but as I was driving down I realized I forgot my wallet. Ugh! This is what happens why you try to leave the house within minutes of waking up! Never made it into So Po, called it quits and I have been chillin at the house since then.

Well i need to get ready for bed, early night tonight. Take care
