Man, it stinks when Hattie isn't here.

Today Hattie had 1 of 2 meets this weekend. Today she was down at BU at an open meet. The hurdles didn't go so well, but her 200m went really well! She shaved almost a full second off her time! Now she is staying down in Boston for the night with the team. This will save the team from having to come all the way home and then heading south again tomorrow to go to a meet in CT.

I think  this is the first time I will be at the house with out her. I have been away a lot, going to races, bike stuff, and going up skiing for the weekend etc... but all those times i have been gone i have been doing some cool. Now the tables have turned and I am sitting here eating a crappy dinner by myself.

I would be down for going out to the old port, but I am pretty worn out from subbing 4th graders all day. Those damn kids have to much energy and some of there parents get a failing grade when it comes to discipling them. One kid especially was a major pain in the ass. In some ways its to bad teachers cant hit the students with rulers....  Actually the teaching gig has been pretty sweet up until today. The older students are much more well behaved and more fun to work with. Plus its a nice moral booster to beat an 8th grader in floor hockey like I did yesterday!

Tomorrow I am back on the bike. Long and easy ride. Weather looks great! Maybe the loaf on Sunday?
