So I just got a brand new pair of MX 302 winter shoes the other day! Check them out

These boots look amazing. I actually haven't had a chance to use them because its been so warm here in Maine lately, but that should change soon. I can't wait to use them. They look much better than my old Lake winter boots. Here are some quick noticable improvements over there old model (my shoes are 5yrs old or so)

1. No shoe laces, the new MX302 use the Boa system. This should put a more even snug fit on the foot reducing tight pressure points that restrict blood flow to the toes. 
   
2. The insole is a heat reflective in sole vs. the old felt insole. This should provide greater warmth
3. A slightly higher neoprene cuff that goes up and over the ankle. This will help keep in more warmth.
   
4. More aggressive tread pattern for walking on snow and ice
5. Far less seams on the front of the shoe (and in general) than the old model. This should be better for blocking wind and keeping out water

I will post a review later once I have been able to put some serious miles on these (figure mid Feb and I should have over 500 miles on them).
