It took john and I over an hour to shovel the driveway on Monday. The snow banks are getting hire and it is starting to look a lot more like winter up here in Maine. I surely wasn't expecting to get 8-10inches of snow, the weather forecast on Sunday was calling for 1-3 so when I woke up Monday o 5+ inches of snow I was somewhat shocked. I even went out to clear off Hattie's car and shovel the end of the drive way so she could get out and go to work! 

Today it has been snowing all day. We picked up another 3+ inches of snow. Not a ton but enough to shovel the driveway before it gets dark. I guess it is suppose to keep on snowing throughout the night. I guess I will have to shovel the driveway again before I go to work. The upside is my back and core are getting some solid work outs from all this shoveling. You might ask why not plow your driveway or get a snowblower? Well reason being is this house is a green house, no motors needed to clear our driveway! Real men shovel!
