Has it been a week since I last updated this website? Probably,

Last Tuesday Hattie and I started the Halloween season early by attending a friends party. There were only 4 of us there that were not cops. It was fun but a little weird being the odd ones there. Hattie went as a Kentucky Derby Girl and she dressed me up as a 70's Hippie.

On Thursday Burns and I were able to head out for a road ride together. I can't remember the last time the two of us road together. At any rate it was beautiful outside, sunny with a light breeze and temps around 48-52. A great fall day. On our ride we saw this pony mowing the owners front lawn! Only in Maine to you get a pony to mow your lawn!

Image Burns was dressed for a 20degree day, He needs to toughen up because it is going to be a long and cold winter!

About two weeks ago I picked up a pair of toe warmers from Cycle Mania .  I've always wondered why someone would use Toe Covers or Toe Booties or what ever they are called. I just thought they were for roadies who needed one more thing in their closet. Well I am in love with my Bontrager Toe Covers. They are perfect for when the weather is about 35-50 degrees out.

I was going to run in the Halloween 5k that started from the Yarmouth High School but had to bail on the race. On Friday I was scheduled for a 5 hour shift at the S-bux but it turned out to be more 10+ hours which stunk. Needless to say I wasn't to pumped about getting up early Saturday racing a 5k running event and then spending 8 more hours standing on my feet.

This morning I was up at 6 and had my lawn raked by 9. It took over 5 full blue tarps full of leaves to clear out the front lawn. The crazy thing is that there are still a ton of leaves on the tree! It stinks having so many leaves that you have to do multiple rakes in the fall.

Image  But look at all the leaves that still haven't fallen!!

Image Not more than six hours later, the lawn of the 497 covered in leaves again!

Well thats it for now, I will do a better job of posting more regularly
