Dude its been snowing like crazy here. We just got hit with a 1, 2 storm. 1st storm was at the end of the year brining in another 8 inches of snow. This made the skiing at Pineland great! Storm number two just ended the other night. It dumped a foot up at Sugarloaf making the skiing amazing!

I have only been able make it up to the loaf a couple times, but every time has been amazing. John and I have been able to make it up to the loaf after every time the loaf has been dumped with at least a foot of snow. Even the bad trails kicked ass. The wind was blowing in the 20+mph  so the east side was closed. John and I did venture off to the east side, but it was  a lot of work for some skiing that wasn't much better than the west side. I got in some good views of Bigelow Mountain. I think i will have to hike it this weekend.

After a full day of skiing it was off to find Burnsy some carrot cake. Turns out back in 99 Java Joe sold carrot cake and now they dont. So now we hit up a new general store/ cafe on the way home in search for some carrot cake. This time we stopped at the Orange Cat Cafe in Kingfield. Burnsy came up empty handed, but we did score a brick of some chocolate oatmeal bar of some sort. The damn thing weighed a ton and it was great! I wont be disappointed if we ended up our search for carrot cake and just hit up that cafe.

I've got some great news though!!!  After having a semi crappy season USADA took me off the Out of Competition Testing (OTC). FYI being on the OTC list sucks! You have to tell the OTC where you are if you are more than 2 hours away from your house. They have the right to come test you all the time etc... I mean dont get me wrong it is definetnly worth it. I would do anything to prove that I am not doping, but I mean if I am going to go through all the trouble of telling USADA where I am then they could at least test me! Well a tester did come up from Mass one weekend in Aug. Turns out the guy didn't check his email and see that I was up hiking Katahdin. thankfully I told USADA where I was. If I hadn't I would be facing a suspension from racing. I couldn't imagine not being able to race....
