After being sick for the first part of last week I wasn't even sure if I was going to make it over to the US Cup race at Windham Mountain. I decided last minute Thursday morning to register as I was feeling better and thought it would be best for myself to race. 

The race went something like this, great start, right around 15 at the top of the climb. About 1/4 of the way down the mountain I punctured my tire. The stans seemed to help until I went through the next rock garden when it went completely flat. So within 10 minutes I went from being around 15th to DFL. Lap times were around 15 or 16 minutes so my race was pretty much over at this point. 

No complaints though. With the exception of one flat during the BC race this has been my first flat during an xc race.
