After 8 days of hard riding in BC a 24 hour trip back east, some more riding, a 6hr solo race, and an XC race all within 14 days left me with very little energy. So this past week has been a recovery week.

I have been so tired and sore all week. I have only been on the bike a few times and every time I have been on the bike I have been tired and sore. It seems like I can't sleep enough! To be honest I can't remember it every taking it this long to recover and prepare for a big race. I am hoping to be able to pick up the intensity tomorrow. Throughout the next week the goal is to pick up my training which should put me in good form for the next 4 weeks. I have two world cups and two US Cups all of which are going to be extremely tough! I don't really have any goals for any specific race. I just want to feel strong and have some good races. If I spend to much time worrying about position or place then I might set myself up for disappointment. 

Well I can't keep typing, time to hit the hay and rest up. Time to stay focuses for the next 5 weeks...
