So far our first whole day in Vancouver has been pretty eventful. For our morning coffee Burns and I walked to the Starbucks a block or two away. We decided to split a French Press of coffee. The French Press is the best way to brew coffee. If you are using paper filters then you just aren’t getting the most out of your morning coffee.

Our day then went something like this:

  • Unbox and build up the bikes
  • Clean up the hotel room and create a video for cyclingdirt.org
  • Head out for a ride
  • Stop every five minutes to take pictures because the scenery is so beautiful
  • Go on a mission to find Big Air Co2 cartridges and arm warmers for burns
  • Chill out after 3 hours of exploring
  • Find a place for dinner, scarf down the food
  • Chill out for the night.

That’s about it for now. Day Zero is tomorrow. Hopefully we can get some more info on the race tomorrow. Keep checking back for more updates and to cyclingdirt.org for video etc.
