I am sad to say but my 4 year span of racing on a Salsa is going to be over.

My bum has spent countless hours on top of a Salsa and the bikes have treated me well. However, with my race results and exposure increasing I needed more support. The support being offered would have been less for 09 so it only made sense to move on.

I have already found  a great sponsor for 2009! I will be a member of the national 29'er crew by Gary Fisher .  This will be my new ride;

The frame alone is at least a full .5lb lighter then my Mamasita! Plus Fisher brings over 8 years experience with 29'ers so the geometry has quicker steering and is more racer friendly. A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to test ride a Superfly at Bradbury and it was SUPER SWEET!!

The other big benefit about joining the 29'er crew is that I will have support at world cups and other major races which will be huge! It stinks going to a WC all alone and not having any support. I am really excited about being a member of this team. I think its a step in the right direction.

I would like to thank Salsa again for there help over the past few years. Riding for them has been great and they have kept a smile on my face every ride. Always ride and smile!
