Haven't been doing much this week. My main goal this week is to be on my feet as little as possible and rest up.
I have been out for a few rides with some secret work outs this week, so I haven’t been completely lazy. My hunger has finally calmed down which is good. For a while I was non stop eating, I started to wonder if I had worms or something in my stomach eating all the food. Its important not to gain weight during a rest week. I want to keep my power to weight at its optimal peak, and not be getting fat right before nationals. I will say though that I was awoken this morning by my neighbors chicken. The damn bird was making so much noise out on our driveway. I need to inform the neighbors that it would be greatly appreciated if they kept there chickens locked up until 8:00am. With nationals a week and a day away and a world cup soon after I need all the sleep I can get. I also don’t want to be killing any chickens at 5:30am! I am debating on going up to the MMBA race in Orono this weekend. I want to support the guys putting on the race since it has been a while since a race was held up north. However, there is no cash money for the winner, so its going to cost me $30 to enter, 2.5hrs of driving, and wear and tear on the bike. Hmmm… what to do??? |
