Man was it nice yesterday. Sunny and temps in the mid to high 70's. I was out for a ride and was getting a little warm. So naturally I decided to unzip the jersey. Well  apparently huge giant wasps are out buzzing around on nice summer like days.

The damn Wasp which was HUGE got sucked into the jersey and stung me!! The sting was strong and hurt like well a really bad bee sting. So I was off my bike in .1 seconds ripped off the jersey and waving my hands around like a crazy person. Thankfully there weren't any cars coming. After the damn wasp flew away feeling all mighty and powerful I was back on the bike. Now naturally I start to think of the last time I was stung by a wasp or bee. Last time I could remember was back in 2005 during a mtn bike race when the same thing happened. After recalling this piece of information I prayed I hadn't formed some type of allergy to bee sting since then because that would really suck.

I was also able to get in a good day at the gym yesterday. With it being so damn nice outside I figured it would be pretty much empty, at least on the aerobic machines. But to my surprise there were actually people on the stair masters and treadmills. With the back bay trails about 10ft away from the gym why would someone want to run on a treadmill in a basement?? Beats me?

Today I had a job interview for an internship. The internship sounds awesome, it pays great, but most importantly the stuff I will learn is priceless.

I also made a trip up to the Bikeman headquarters. The last two Canada Cups I have had great legs, almost cracked the top 20, but both times I had bike problems. Well I guess I need to somehow fork over the $ and get the necessary parts. Lets just say the order was huge, but necessary. Cross our fingers for a well functioning bike in Baie St. Paul.

Thats it for today. For everyone with a smooth riding bike enjoy!
