Man was it nice yesterday. Sunny and temps in the mid to high 70's. I was out for a ride and was getting a little warm. So naturally I decided to unzip the jersey. Well apparently huge giant wasps are out buzzing around on nice summer like days. |

Ah its nice going to a mountain bike race that is actually a mountain bike race. Too many of the NMBS races are remote, hard to get to, 6,000+ ft and require little to know technical skills. The Canadian Cups (more specifically the Quebec Cup) know how to put on a real race. The races have a large spectator crowd, and more importantly the courses are awesome!! |

21st overall! Top American! I guess last weeks 22 wasn't a fluke. I proved I can race at this level more than once. I was only 10-15 seconds from braking the top 20, and only a few minutes from top 10. Full report up tomorrow. I was too busy cleaning my bike and putting away gear, riding my bike with Hattie, cooking an amazing dinner, and putting together a puzzle with Hattie today to do a full post. |

Sorry for the delay in not posting a full recap earlier. Like I said before my lap top has been at Best Buy getting a new hard drive. Since I have gotten it back Hattie has been using it for her public speaking class. |
